Project Management Officer

As a Project Management Officer (PMO) at iWelcome you support the Project Managers. You are responsible for optimizing the Project Management Office in driving standardisation, safeguarding the iWelcome Project Approach, maintaining project statuses, including financials, and reporting these both internally and externally.

You work closely together with our Professional Services, Operations and Sales department to maintain, evaluate and improve Project Execution and Control.

The successful candidate brings customer orientation, commitment and an innovative mindset to the table to drive both customer satisfaction and successful Project Execution.

The successful candidate has the drive and ability to grow into a Project Manager role over time.

Key Responsibilities

iWelcome is looking for a Project Management Officer capable of undertaking the following key responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Managers in their execution of projects
  • Safeguard the iWelcome Project Approach
  • Maintain a correct project administration
  • Assist in resource management to staff the projects in an efficient manner
  • Be innovative and pro-active, challenge the status quo
  • iWelcome’s PMO has a hands-on mentality and thrives in a multi-tasked environment in which (s)he will safeguard customer satisfaction in balance with iWelcome’s business needs.

Our new Project Management Officer:

  • Has proven experience in PMO roles, ensuring customer satisfaction in ICT service delivery (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS or similar) for (international) enterprise customers;
  • With a minimum 2-4 years relevant work experience;
  • Has the drive and ability to grow into a Project Manager
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills (both verbally and in writing), with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster honest dialogue;
  • Can prioritise, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure;
  • Is able to motivate team members and other stakeholders;
  • Is commercial result oriented and customer focused;
  • Is self-motivated, however, likes to work as part of an ambitious team;
  • Is comfortable in a dynamic environment such as iWelcome, is not restricted by a 9-5 mentality;
  • Is Fluent in English and Preferably German and Dutch.
