KuppingerCole: iWelcome addresses the Identity needs of European companies

Amersfoort, 23 March 2020 - KuppingerCole published its latest Executive View this week, evolving around iWelcome’s IDaaS and CIAM platform. John Tolbert, senior analyst at KuppingerCole and recognised expert in cybersecurity and identity management, says iWelcome’s offering is strong in supporting the regional needs of European companies, such as interoperability with various national IDs and GDPR compliance.

The report says that “iWelcome is a leading CIAM solution provider, focused on helping clients building frictionless B2C and B2B customer journeys for omni-channel onboarding and authentication.” iWelcome realises this with a developer-friendly API-first platform, including Customer Journey Management, Mobile, Consent & Preference Management, eID, and RITM (Relationships, Identities, Things, and Mandates) forB2B and B2B2C relationship and delegation of authority management.

European player

iWelcome is particularly recognised for supporting European organisations with GDPR and consent features, and the ability to connect with almost any ID-provider, such as BankID’s, eIDAS, eHerkenning, FranceConnect and iDIN.

Relationships, Identities, Things, and Mandates

Another strength is the fact that iWelcome is constantly innovating, for example by introducing their new RITM module. “RITM addresses the changing needs of the business marketplace by providing comprehensive and customisable relationship management which includes coverage for B2B2C and C2C use cases,” according to John Tolbert.
