The 14th of November security organisation LSEC will host a GDPR Conference in the Netherlands, themed “GDPR – PLAN to be Ready, PREPARE to Set, CHANGE to Go”.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years… and LSEC is giving you everything to make sure you’re prepared! They will provide multiple sessions where different aspects of the GDPR implementation will be investigated in depth, on the basis of the legal principles, experiences on implementation and indication which tools might be supportive of these implementations. The seminars are oriented towards DPO’s & other privacy officers, CISO’s, CIO’s, legal counsel, compliance officers, tax & audit, Company Directors, Business and Technology Managers and business people who should be involved in the data protection of their customers and partners. It is a unique combination of regulatory requirements, business impact and challenges for practice, a difference from either the pure legal or technology perspectives.
Consent Lifecycle Management presented by iWelcome
iWelcome’s Corné van Rooij will be there to present about Consent Lifecycle Management. The GDPR legislation demands a detailed approach to consent. Not only should in certain situations data subjects (the consumers) be asked for consent; as a data controller you have to be able to demonstrate that a consumer has consented to processing of his or her personal data, and for which purpose. Corné van Rooij will give practical insights in how to implement consent in an identity platform and how to use consent to build a trusting relationship with your customers.
